About Me

Hi! I’m Melanie Deal, and I am a certified Yoga continuing education provider (YACEP), advanced yoga teacher (RYT-500 and E-RYT-200) and meditation teacher, and have been teaching since 2002. I am also a Certified Integrative Wellness and Life Coach with the Integrative Wellness Academy, and have been coaching clients since 2017. I am located in the Fort Mill, SC area.

I found yoga and meditation in 1999, as a way to help me deal with the stress and anxiety of going through a divorce and suddenly becoming a single mom, all while trying to complete my college degree and working full-time. The transformation I found by incorporating these modalities into my life sparked my interest to share what I had learned with others, and in 2002, I achieved my yoga certification. When I became diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease in 2012 and then later Fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis and Non-Radiographic Axial Spondyloarthritis, I was inspired to learn other healing tools and techniques, which led me to wellness & life coaching. I absolutely love to build my knowledge, and am continually learning new ways to help my clients achieve the life they deserve.

The positive and calming energy I bring to the table allows my clients to believe in themselves and their power to heal themselves.

When not coaching or teaching, you can find me walking the nearby trails in the Carolinas, riding my bike, fostering rescue animals, or hanging out with my family (which includes my husband, two daughters, two dogs and two cats).

  1. Thank you for following my blog Melanie! It is so nice to connect with another yoga teacher who loves sharing the joy of yoga with children and teens to help them discover their full potential. Looking forward to reading more about your journey! Namaste. Betty
